Meeting Directory Listing Policy – Last updated on January 7th, 2023
The St. Cloud Intergroup (SCI) uses the latest version of the 12 Step Meeting List WordPress plugin from code4recovery in order to list AA groups and meetings in our catchment area (which extends in a 50 mile radius around St. Cloud, Minnesota) on our website. A public feed (JSON list) of the AA groups and meetings listed by SCI is available for other AA service entities who wish to aggregate our AA meeting directory into their AA meeting directory.
The SCI meeting directory is available to be polled by the Meeting Guide App. SCI will only list AA groups and meetings using actual street addresses. This will ensure that the listings of AA groups and meetings that SCI provides for inclusion in the Meeting Guide App will not create duplicate listings. Furthermore, SCI will only use intersection addressing in the event we need to list an AA group or meeting that does not have an actual street address. There are no such AA Groups or Meetings in the SCI meeting directory at this time.
